Synovate Becomes the First Agency to Have Local Installation of Confirmit in China

) January 6, 2009 -- Synovate China, the largest customised research agency in China, has selected Confirmit as one of its platforms to support its online research business within mainland China.

Synovate has consistently been at the forefront of innovation in online research in China, and has now become the first agency in the region to adopt the Confirmit On-Premise solution. The move will enable the agency to deliver faster survey response times, more reliable connectivity to survey projects, greater assurance for date security and wider opportunities for integration with back-end and third-party databases and applications. The On-Premise solution also allows Synovate China to serve the needs of several key clients in terms of storing data at the local country level.

Synovate China's implementation of our On-Premise solution is a great demonstration of the success that Confirmit can provide for customers in the Asia-Pacific region. We look forward to continuing our work with Synovate China to support their ongoing expansion of the depth and quality of the research they provide to clients.

Darryl Andrew, CEO at Synovate China, said, "We selected the Confirmit platform because it 100% fulfilled our clients' needs and will also enable us to maintain our status as the 'trailblazer' of online research in China when used in conjunction with other platforms. Using the Confirmit On-Premise solution puts us in an ideal position to not only improve the respondent experience when completing surveys, but also to enhance our ability to provide clients with access to data via a secure and interactive online portal, using Confirmit Reportal."

Prior to selecting the On-Premise solution, Synovate China used Confirmit on a Software-as-a-Service basis. The move to an on-premise system allows the agency to leverage and exploit Confirmit's capabilities to an even greater level.

Henning Hansen, CEO of Confirmit, said, "Synovate China's implementation of our On-Premise solution is a great demonstration of the success that Confirmit can provide for customers in the Asia-Pacific region. We look forward to continuing our work with Synovate China to support their ongoing expansion of the depth and quality of the research they provide to clients."

  • When companies are choosing their CRM solution they are presented with a host of choices; one key issue that companies face is to decide to choose an On-Premise or Hosted CRM system?
Quite often the outcome will come down to what the company budget permits; an on-premise solution can incur costs from the outset including, the software itself, installation and updates to existing hardware and workstations.
For small businesses with more restrictive budgets hosted CRM systems provide the same functionality without the initial outlay on the software, hardware and setup costs.
A hosted solution can reduce the investment required in resources too, removing the requirement for in-house IT specialists, allowing companies to focus on their core business.
