Gruvie.com launches new Social Website, planning to bring together the Social Web

September 5, 2008 --
Provo, Utah, 09/05/08 – Gruvie, a new social network aggregator that launched (www.gruvie.com) recently in beta, has experienced large growth over its first week as users are able to aggregate their social web content into one location. Gruvie is intended to make it easier for people to manage and share their online identities. The site currently brings together social network sites Facebook, Myspace, and Linkedin along with email from Google’s Gmail and Yahoo mail in ways that no other site has yet to do. Unlike other social network aggregators, Gruvie is the first to allow users to interact with their social network sites, not just passively see activity, making Gruvie the first truly Active Social Network Aggregator.
A Gruvie user can tell Gruvie which sites they want to see in Gruvie and even what specific content from that site. Once signed up for a free account, a user can see their friends and connections, photos, and comments from Facebook, Myspace, and Linkedin all in one location. The Gruvie Inbox can show messages from all these accounts as well, in addition to messages from Gmail and Yahoo Mail.
Interaction is where Gruvie stands out even more. With a Gruvie account, a user can reply to any message in the Inbox and it will be sent out through the corresponding account (Gmail, Facebook, etc.). They can also post comments to their friend’s profile on the other social networks – all from within their Gruvie profile.
In addition to the five current social accounts that can be imported into Gruvie, Twitter, Flickr, and Blogger are soon to follow. “Our plan is to have 20 social web sites integrated into Gruvie by the end of this year, allowing Gruvie to reach hundreds of millions of web users across the world,” stated Ian Ellis of Gruvie.
One user commented, “…you guys have a great vision! Keep it up, I'll definitely stick around!!”
To find out more you can visit the site at www.gruvie.com and click the “Learn More” link, or sign up for a free account and see what Gruvie can do firsthand.
