London, 12 June 2008 – Linde Material Handling (UK) Ltd has installed three K range very narrow aisle trucks at the recently expanded Davies Turner freight and logistics hub in Bristol. To enable pallet retrieval from this location, Davies Turner needed a truck with a substantial lift height capability of over 16 metres - an industry first. Linde, one of the world's leading manufacturers of forklifts and warehouse equipment, was able to effectively deliver the solution. The lift heights of these newly acquired Linde trucks currently exceed those of any application on record.

Years ago, in the late 60's I had the pleasure of becoming friends with a reclusive man from eastern Nevada who was known as somewhat of an alchemist. This began my research on water fuel cells.
With the price of fuel re-awakening my interest I share this story. Thanks
to the knowledge that my friend Luke began to share with me in my younger years.
At 78 years old Luke was still tinkering with making his 64 Chevy impala run on water.
It took him two years into our friendship before he told me his secret, and then making
me swear to secrecy before showing me his project that was hidden in a basement,
hand dug under his hot, neglected, barn.
Making a car run on water he told me,"would surely get me killed by a big oil company".

Following a spate of vandalism and cable theft within various parts of Network Rail's infrastructure, TEW Plus Ltd instigated a successful eight week trial of an intruder deterrent system using Derwent' System's new AEGIS White Light LED illuminators.

During the day intruders are detected by sensors which trigger a loudspeaker that issues a stern warning to trespassers to leave the site.
