RNL Bio granted exclusive license for dog cloning from Seoul National University

RNL Bio Co, Ltd, (RNL) reaffirmed that they were granted the exclusive license for dog cloning from Seoul National University (SNU). The licensing agreement signed early this month, between the two organizations, granted RNL the worldwide rights to clone dogs.
The firm also plans to pursue available legal action against BioArts International Ltd (BioArts) and its affiliate, Sooam Biotech Research Foundation (Sooam) for patent infringement relating to its plan to conduct an online auction for cloned dogs scheduled for July, 2008.
An official from RNL Bio said that they sent a warning letter to BioArts stating that it has no rights to offer such a commercial dog cloning service.
