Peopletoucher.com Launches LinkedIn Search Engine for Salespeople and Recruiters

) January 28, 2009 -- Peopletoucher.com, a site focused on innovative web-based resources and techniques for salespeople and recruiters, announced the release of their LinkedIn search engine.

"LinkedIn's built-in search is great for casual users, but recruiting and business development pros who use the networking site to find sales prospects and job candidates need more sophisticated search options," said Chris, co-founder of Peopletoucher.com. "Creating an effective search for the decision makers at a Fortune 500 account is very tedious. For example, searching for director or VP-level executives in the data center division of the IT group at AT&T, you'd need a long string of search terms and boolean operators to narrow down millions of contacts to a handful of the right people. Our interface eliminates the hassle."

The Peopletoucher.com LinkedIn search engine presents a number of enhancements over traditional form-based searching. Commonly-used terms can be saved in an 'inventory' format, allowing search settings to be re-used for every new target account or job placement.

Rather than use drop-down menus, slider bars control settings such as location radius and seniority level, an interface common on search sites like Kayak.com. The RankFilter slider matches only the specific seniority level needed; manager, director, VP, or C-Level are the tiered options.

"LinkedIn is an excellent business development resource for the sales and recruiting community. We hope to make networking easier and more effective for this small but growing portion of its user base," said Chris.
