Umemura brings more than 25 years of senior level management experience in the network security market and holds CISSP and CIPP certification, industry standards for systems security and corporate compliance.
At LuciData, Umemura will lead the Internal Threat Management (ITM) offerings to clients with regulatory compliance requirements and enterprise IT concerned with detecting and prevent the unauthorized use and transmission of confidential information. He will oversee ITM and DLP (Data Loss Prevention) services for all of LuciData's offices including Denver, Des Moines Minneapolis and New York City.

Prior to joining LuciData, Umemura was Senior Solutions Consultant for Vericept Corporation, a provider of comprehensive compliance and data loss prevention solutions. Umemura was also a technical instructor and sales manager for Avaya/Lucent, an international communications leader. Umemura holds a B.A. from Indiana University Bloomington.
