Unlike typical search engines, Linklex allows users to save, reuse, influence and share their search results with others--effectively making searching easier, faster and more efficient for all. To do so, Linklex uses linklogs to facilitate saving search engine result pages (SERPs).

A linklog is a type of blog where postings are limited to just one link per entry and a title. Optionally, some further description may be given. Linklex's linklogs are grouped by common keywords or "search tags".
The ability to save search results is important to help searchers overcome two of the main problems with today's search engines, repeat queries and duplicate queries.
"More than 40% of searches are repeat queries, people looking for information that they have found before and almost all searches are duplicate queries--people looking for something that someone else has already found. As a result, we waste a lot of time searching," said Hernando Solano, Founder of Linklex.
Being able to save and reuse search results dramatically cuts the time that we spend finding things on the Internet, while opening doors to new ways to discovering relevant content through popular and recent linklogs, or by sharing links and linklogs using services like Facebook, Twitter, etc.
