The IP5280 VLC contains over 20 easy-to-follow “How To” videos providing instruction on the basics of Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), the functions and features of the High Definition desk-top phones, and all computer interface and networking capabilities.
Available through the IP5280 website at www.ip5280.com, the IP5280 VLC is designed with a progressive curriculum, starting with the key components of IP communications. The videos average two minutes in length and include simple-to-follow graphics, button-by-button use of the Polycom Soundpoint IP High Definition phone, and step-by-step mouse-clicks using the Broadsoft management portal. All of the videos are packaged into a navigation-friendly graphical user interface, making the IP5280 VLC the first of its kind in the VoIP communications industry.
Included in the training lineup are step-by-step videos covering everything from the simple – a 13-second presentation on using the phone “Call Hold” functionality – to the more complex – a 3:59 video titled “Networking Do’s and Don’t’s.” The VLC was purposely designed to simplify the VoIP experience for each new user on the network, and to provide IT professionals with the critical tools necessary to manage the implementation of a Hosted VoIP infrastructure.
