Forbes recognizes Children International as a Top Charity

) December 11, 2008 -- With the giving season at hand, Forbes magazine ranks Children International, a humanitarian organization, as a top charity.

Forbes rated Children International based upon three financial efficiency ratios and the trend from the previous year. Their survey judged Children International based upon the following criteria:

  • fundraising efficiency
  • charitable commitment
  • donor dependency
