) August 27, 2009 -- Roger Limon, Calisto100.com founder and CEO, knows students are tired of hiding from their parents, families and bosses on Facebook. As of today, more than two-thirds of Facebook users are out of college. It is no longer the uncensored student community it once was.
Calisto100, recently launched, is an exclusive social media community connecting college and university students across the country. Calisto100, the first of its kind, will feature a community-rated list of the top 100 students at schools where students rate their favorite (or least favorite) photos. It's a platform for students to vote and connect with other members from over 2,000 colleges and universities.

The idea for Calisto100 came to Roger while sitting in a coffee shop on a Saturday afternoon in Kendall Square, Cambridge.
"I overheard two college students venting how both their mothers friended them on Facebook," said Roger. "When Facebook opened its doors to the world, students lost their private community. I'm really excited about the site, its potential to restore a social networking community for students and our Campus Ambassador Program. Calisto100 is exclusive, no moms allowed."
Calisto100.com's simple interface and user-friendly design are vital assets. It is simple for students to upload pictures, customize profiles and send messages to students at their schools and schools across the country.
